Dr. Chris Landon, MD

Associate Medical Director, Pediatric Diagnostic Center

Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology, medical degree from the University of Southern California and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics, completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Stanford University Hospital and a fellowship in allergy, immunology and respiratory diseases at the Children's Hospital at Stanford. Director of the Pediatric Diagnostic Center, a pediatric multi-specialty referral clinic dedicated to treating children with every-day health problems as well as those needing specialized care. Director Of Pediatrics at the UCLA affiliated Family Medicine Residency and is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at UCLA.
In 2016 taken on the role of Strategic Director of Telehealth for the Intelligent Health Association (IHA). A global, technology based and technology focused organization comprised of many new technology communities and societies all operating under one organizational structure. Actively involved in medical diagnosis and teaching utilizing telemedicine for three decades. 

 

Karen von Berg, PT, DPT

Johns Hopkins Hospital, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Karen von Berg received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Utica College.  She has worked with pediatric and adult patients with cystic fibrosis at The Johns Hopkins Hospital for more than 17 years.  Dr. von Berg developed the outpatient physical therapy (PT) program at Johns Hopkins CF Center and enjoys mentoring PTs from across the county to help optimize their role on the CF care team.  Increasing awareness of the need for physical therapy in the care of patients with CF is of special interest to Dr. von Berg; she has presented at national and international conferences and has provided university lectures and continuing education courses on the role of physical therapy in CF care.    She has contributed to two textbooks on the topic of CF and has co-conducted research on various aspects of exercise and CF.

Lisa Dreher, MS, RDN, LDN

Functional Medicine Nutritionist, UltraWellness Center

Lisa is a registered dietitian working in the specialty area of functional medicine at The UltraWellness Center of Dr. Mark Hyman in Lenox, Massachusetts. Prior to working here, Lisa was at the University of Rochester in Pediatric Gastroenterology where she was involved in the nutritional care of patients with complex gastrointestinal issues, many of which were children with cystic fibrosis (CF).

She completed her dietetic internship at Cornell University and received a master’s degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health. She wrote her master’s thesis on The Use of Functional Foods in the Complementary Treatment of Cystic Fibrosis.

Most significantly, Lisa was married to a man with CF who gave her firsthand insight into the complexity of managing this disease and what is needed to optimize all aspects of health. She is currently writing a comprehensive guide for patients, their caregivers and practitioners to provide safe integrative/functional nutrition guidelines based on her personal and professional experience.
